Culinary adventures.

When Lori McCarthy approached Ray to create a new brand for her food adventure business, we were the happiest people on the planet. For real. We love food. And we love Newfoundland. But most of all, we love Newfoundland food. Lori needed a name and everything that goes along with building a new brand including stationary, a brochure and a website. We settled on Cod Sounds – a name that is near and dear to Lori’s heart. To most, the cod sound is simply the air bladder that keeps a cod afloat. But to us – and the adventurous few – this delicious treasure tells the story of a people who had the ingenuity to find nourishment in the overlooked, the unwanted and the left behind.
