St. John’s, NL / Halifax, NS
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our website development team, deepening our skill set and capacity. Ray is an independent, full-service agency, supporting clients across Canada and beyond. We pride ourselves on delivering bespoke creative solutions in a range of categories, and website/digital development has always been part of our toolkit.
As a full stack developer you will use your experience to execute the requirements of a diverse set of projects, and find opportunities to contribute ideas whenever possible. We’re not looking for a one-trick pony that works in the background. We’re looking for someone that is interested in collaborating with the entire agency – from strategy to design – to push the boundaries of what is expected and challenge us to bring our A-game.
Our clients run mainly on WordPress, so you’ll need to know your way around there without relying entirely on Stack Overflow. In addition to new projects, you’ll be expected to update and refresh projects already in play as client needs changes.
If you check (most of) the boxes listed below, are down to earth, armed with a great sense of humour, and you’re allergic to bullshit, then let’s talk.

As a women-owned, WBE certified company, we embrace diversity. Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies show that women and other marginalized groups are less likely to apply unless they meet every qualification in the job description. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every point in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
We thank all applicants for their interest, however; only those candidates being considered for an interview will be contacted. Applicants considered for the position will be subject to a background check. This opportunity is only available for candidates legally entitled to work in Canada.
