Ray is proud to announce the acquisition of MediaBonnet, an independent, certified-diverse media planning, buying, and strategy agency based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Ray’s expansion into Nova Scotia and growth of its in-house media department, established in 2023 and led by Media Director, Robin Cook.

Founded 14 years ago as Rose Wagner Media, MediaBonnet, led by CEO Tinu Bruchanova, has evolved to blend traditional, digital, and emerging media for a wide variety of integrated campaigns, while staying ahead of digital trends and the latest advertising technology.
Ray was founded in 2013, and recently identified both Nova Scotia expansion and the addition of in-house media strategy, planning, and buying as key growth opportunities. The agency has had full time staff in Nova Scotia since 2022 and expanded the team with the addition of Media Director Robin Cook in 2023 and Account Director Karen Boyd in 2025. The acquisition of MediaBonnet allows the agency to address both strategic priorities – boosting the media department’s capacity and the agency’s reach in Nova Scotia and beyond.
